Simarpreet Singh is the founder of media-tech venture Mindbatteries, an edutainment company that is India’s first media platform for millennials to watch premium video content and participate in intellectual contests. Singh is passionate about education, entertainment, technology, media, and marketing. He was selected as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and sits on the Global Shapers Advisory Council for Events and Funding; represented India at the Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, Shape North America, and Shape China; and represented India in ‘Aman ki Asha’ peace debates with Pakistan. Singh was elected as the Lead Curator of WEF Global Shapers Hub in Chandigarh, India and was also selected by TED to curate the first-ever TEDxChandigarh. Singh has also been chosen as a “Business Quizmaster” by the Economic Times. His current interests include social experimentation, cognitive surplus utilization, and social campaign design. Singh has designed and conducted more than 300 knowledge events globally.
